Well, It's official. The 2008 race year has started! Here is our first Marathon of the year SALT LAKE CITY! (of course, Ray as the runner- me as the cheerleader!)
Ray did great- it was really windy though and led to little dehydration. But, he finished as always! Then we spent the night at the Marriot swimming and eating room service.
Ray plans on doing the Grand SLam again this year- 3 years straight. (this is all the 5 marathons in utah) And- he always likes to add in a few others. Next weekend he is doing Big Suhr- which is voted the most scenic in the nation. It goes from Monteray to Carmel, California. I do have to admit I am excited about that one.

Go Ray! I was thinking about him on Sat...was a pretty day for a race--Big Sur will be awesome! I am jealous!
That is so great!! I think that running a marathon would be such a great life changing experience. Good luck at Big Sur and most of all have fun.
